Ingredients
- 2 cups sugar
- 3 eggs well beaten
- 1.5 cups oil
- 3 cups flour
- 1 teaspoon soda
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 tespoon vanilla
- 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
- 3 cups pear or apple slices sliced very thin

Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees
- Blend sugar, eggs and oil
- Sift flour, soda, salt and cinnamon together
- Gradually add 1 cup of dry ingredients at a time to sugar mixture
- Add to a greased 9x13" pan and bake at 350 degrees for about an hour.
- A powdered sugar glaze may be added if desired.

This yummy moist cake freezes well and may be served for brunch or dessert. The recipe is from my Aunt Margaret Turner Johnson in Hot Springs, Arkansas.
